Registration cancellations must be received in writing prior to this date to receive a full refund, less a $25 processing fee. Any cancellations received after the July 18 deadline will not be honored. |

Room reservations at the Marriott Wardman Park must be made NO LATER THAN Thursday, July 31, 2008. At that time the block of rooms will be closed and the discounted rate cannot be guaranteed. Please make your reservations early as space may be filled quickly. Deposits are fully refundable at the hotel if a room reservation is canceled at least seven (7) days prior to arrival, and a cancellation number is obtained. Please confirm this policy with the hotel upon making your reservations. |
2. What time does the meeting start and end?
- Pre registration/Check-In will open Sunday August 24, 2008 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
- The meeting begins with an opening plenary breakfast Monday August 25, 2008 at 8:30am.
- The Grantee Meeting will convene August 25-28, 2008.
- The 11th Annual Clinical Update will convene August 25-27, 2008.
- The closing luncheon is scheduled to end Thursday August 28, 2008 at 1:30pm.
Registration and Fees
4. How much is the registration fee?
- Early Registration through May 9, 2008 - $425.00 per person. NOTE: If you register early but your payment is received after May 9, 2008 you still qualify for the early bird fee as long as you submit your payment before August 4, 2008.
- Regular Registration May 10, 2008 through August 1, 2008 - $525.00 per person
- Onsite Registration August 25, 2008 through August 28, 2008 - $625.00 per person
- One-Day Registration - $160.00 per person

8. Do we make our own hotel arrangements?

DRESS CODE
9. What should I wear to the meeting?
Casual attire is encouraged for the meeting. August in Washington, DC is usually hot and humid so dress cool when going outside. However, the hotel will be air conditioned, and some people find this overly cool. Consider bringing a light sweater.
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
10. Will there be an on-call physician in case I get sick?
Yes, there will be a physician on-call. Please stop by the registration desk or contact a PSA staff member if assistance is needed. Also, the Program Book will include detailed information about medical and other assistance that is available to meeting attendees.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
11. Is continuing education offered?
Yes, Continuing Education is offered at this meeting. During Registration you may sign up for Medical, Nursing, and Social Worker Continuing Education Credits at the Continuing Education Desk, located in the main registration area.
